In Huy's honor

What Huy Believed

If Huy could write you one letter today, this is close to what he'd say. No pressure. Just love. Read it slowly.

There is a God who made you on purpose.

"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made." โ€” Psalm 139:13โ€“14

You are not an accident. You are not a project. You were thought of, wanted, and made with love.

Something is broken โ€” in the world, and in us.

"All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." โ€” Romans 3:23

Cancer. Cruelty. The ache you feel late at night. None of this was God's plan. Sin broke our world โ€” and broke us with it.

God didn't leave us in it. He came for us.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." โ€” John 3:16

Jesus โ€” fully God and fully man โ€” lived the perfect life we couldn't. He died on a cross, taking our brokenness onto Himself. Three days later, He walked out of the grave alive. Death is not the end. He proved it.

This is what carried Huy through cancer.

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." โ€” 2 Timothy 4:7

Huy wasn't fearless because he was strong. He was fearless because he was held. And the One who held him is the same One holding His arms open to you, right now.

You can come home, today.

"If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." โ€” Romans 10:9

There is no formula. No earning it. Just a turning of your heart and a saying of yes. Something like:

"Jesus, I believe. I'm sorry for what I've done apart from you. Come into my life. Be my Lord, my Savior, and my friend. Thank you for loving me. Amen."

If you said that prayer โ€”

welcome home. Heaven is louder right now because of you. Find a Bible-believing church this Sunday. Read the book of John. Talk to God like He's your friend, because He is.

And someday โ€” Huy will be there to hug you when you arrive.

If you prayed that prayer just now โ€”

would you let heaven know? One soft tap. No name, no email. Just a quiet yes.
