Huy's forever home

Heaven is real.
And Huy is there.

He's not gone. He's not sleeping. He's not "in a better place" in some vague way. He's awake, alive, and watching β€” cheering you on from the cloud of witnesses.

Heaven is more alive than here.

"We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord."

β€” 2 Corinthians 5:8

The moment Huy closed his eyes here, he opened them there. No gap. No waiting room. Face to face with Jesus.

God is the God of the living.

"He is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for to him all are alive."

β€” Luke 20:38

When Jesus said this about Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob β€” men who had died centuries before β€” He used the present tense. To God, they were alive right then. So is Huy.

Huy can see this.

"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders… and run with perseverance the race marked out for us."

β€” Hebrews 12:1

Heaven knows what's happening here. Huy is in that cloud now β€” watching you run, cheering when you choose Jesus, rejoicing every time someone comes home.

Heaven throws a party for every soul.

"There is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents."

β€” Luke 15:10

If you give your life to Jesus today, heaven celebrates β€” and Huy is in the front row. That's not poetry. That's what Jesus said.

Jesus is preparing a place.

"In my Father's house are many rooms… I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me."

β€” John 14:2–3

Heaven isn't a metaphor. It's a place Jesus called home, with rooms enough for all who trust Him.

No more cancer. No more tears.

"He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

β€” Revelation 21:4

The cancer that took Huy's body has no power where he is now. Nothing broken. Nothing aching. Nothing missing.

Jesus proved it.

"Christ died for our sins… he was buried, he was raised on the third day… and he appeared to Cephas, and then to the Twelve. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred at once."

β€” 1 Corinthians 15:3–6

Heaven isn't wishful thinking. Jesus walked out of His own grave and was seen by hundreds of eyewitnesses. If He can beat death, He can carry Huy β€” and you β€” through it.

The doorway home

You can see Huy again.

Not through being good enough. Not through trying harder. Through trusting the One who already opened the door.

"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

β€” John 14:6

Yes β€” show me how β†’

Heaven is waiting. Huy is cheering.

"He's not gone. He's home β€” and the door is still open."
